MARSEILLE
A car road trip through all the Côte d'Azur up to Marseille. Sun, sea, wine, food and architecture. If I'd have to describe the feeling I get when I hear the word "summer" I would surely use this part of France as an example. The colours, the flavours and the smells, the little shops and the bistros, the buildings, the blue sea and the green hills are those things to see to believe it.
The city of Marseille is a fascinating mixture of multiethnic cultures where a recent intervention of some internationally recognized architects (Stefano Boeri, Norman Foster and Kengo Kuma to name a few) restored most of the harbour and industrial areas and it makes it a joy to walk around.
Impossible to leave without visiting one of Le Corbusier's most famous works:"L'unité d'habitation de grandeur conforme".
