One of the best ways to live India and experience really what is behind one of the most populous country in the world, is to take a walk in the small roads that connect the main areas of the city and somehow fill the space with houses, shops and temples.
Indiranagar's 100ft Rd. is a high street of Bangalore, with international stores (one of which I have designed), bars and restaurants but just around it there's a labyrinth of little streets that are magic to see. The people, kind and proud of their heritage, all come out from their homes to enjoy a holy celebration together.
